Motto of program is to help participants with knowledge, skills and attitude to take control of their own health

Good Health By Yourself (GHBY) program is a 2-days, 1-night training program at the Wellness We Care Center. It is tailored to help if you are strong enough to make changes in your lifestyle to prevent chronic disease.

In GHBY program a small group of around 30 people spend a relaxed weekend with Sant Chaiyodslip, M.D, at Wellness We Care Center, Muak Lek. Set in a peaceful and undisturbed natural setting, the program focuses on four vital aspects of healthy living — a wholesome plant-based diet, exercise, stress management, and positive social interaction.

This program also sets up “friend helps friend” group for participants in order for them to exchange views, learn and help each other in future with atmosphere of intimate and informal conversation.

This program provides participants to understand simple 7 risk factors of chronic disease as per American heart association (AHA) and equips participants with adequate knowledge of scientific research outcomes on food and health, stress management, exercise and group support.

Participants also learn practical aspect of how to read and interpret food labels, healthy cooking, and various types of exercise, stress management, sleep hygiene along with helping participants to understand various stages of making changes, developing support groups and staying motivated.

By the end of the program participants would have developed not just knowledge and skills but also right attitude to take control of their health.

At  Wellness We Care, have conceptualized the program in a manner that you can understand how small changes in your lifestyle and dietary habits can have a big impact on your health.

  • 108:30 - 09:30 : You will arrive at the Wellness We Care Center, check into the Grove House, and settle in
  • 209:30 - 10:00 : You will get to know other participants. The more you interact, the better you can co-ordinate and exchange ideas with them
  • 310:00 - 10:30 : Briefing on the evidence that suggests that modifications in lifestyle extend longevity and promote well-being
  • 410:30 - 11:00 : Briefing on the USDA 2015 Advisory Committee's guidelines on nutrition. Through this briefing, you will know how to eat healthy and what you should eat and avoid
  • 511:00 - 12:00 : There will be a workshop on healthy food shopping
  • 612:00 - 13:30 : At a workshop, you will cook your lunch, adhering to the concept of whole plant-based food, a recommended healthy eating habit for adults
  • 713:30 - 13:45 : We will guide you with muscle stretching training. You will be informed about the ten groups of major muscles in the body and the training for each group
  • 813:45 - 14:45 : Muscle strength is important to remain active and healthy. We will train you on the various ways to strengthen your muscles
  • 914:45 - 15:45 : Balance exercises decrease injury risks due to falling. On the first day of the GHBY program, we will train participants about various balance exercises with line dance
  • 1015:45 - 16:15 : Coffee break
  • 1116:15 - 17:30 : After the coffee break, there will be a tour of the backyard vegetable garden, where spices, herbs and sprouts are grown. Participants will learn how to grow these healthy organic items themselves
  • 1217:30 - 18:30 : This time window is kept aside for leisure, when you could also take a shower
  • 1318:30 - 20:30 : Time for dinner, singing, and discussing the activities of the entire day
  • 1420:30 : Return to your room and prepare yourself for the next day
  • 106:00 - 07:00 : There will be an assessment on your physical fitness with a one-mile walk test
  • 207:00 - 08:00 : We will conduct a workshop on mindful motion with Tai Chi. Tai Chi has evolved into a graceful exercise to reduce stress. It is described as meditation in motion
  • 308:00 - 08:30 : We will conduct training on balance exercises
  • 408:30 - 09:45 : Time for shower and breakfast
  • 509:45 - 10:30 : Training on mentalisation-based treatment (MBT). The treatment promotes further mental development. Health support groups consider it as one of the healthiest activities
  • 610:30 - 10:45 : Coffee break and training on mindful eating
  • 710:45 - 11:45 : A workshop on the assessment of simple risk factors affecting health. You will have a personal dashboard where you can plan your own healthy habits
  • 811:45 - 12:15 : Briefing on how you can motivate yourself
  • 912:15 - 13:15 : Lunch time
  • 1013:15 - 14:00 : Training on hands-only cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), a procedure combining chest compression with artificial ventilation to preserve the brain function during a cardiac arrest
  • 1114:00 - 14:30 : Support group set-up
  • 1214:30 - 17:00 : A post-camp clinical question-answer session. Dr. Sant Chaiyodsilp will personally discuss health problems with you, taking into consideration your lab test results and X-ray, besides other reports. Others can share their experiences too


Since our GHBY program involves many exercises, we recommend participants to dress in comfortable clothes. We also recommend them to wear sneakers, carry sunscreen, and a cap with them.


* This price is all included accommodation, food and basic facilities at the center

*** If there are rooms available, customers can request to stay single with extra pay 1,000 Baht on site

**** Customers in a group of three bookings can stay together without extra pay for additional bed

***** Stay upfront on Friday, extra pay is 2,000 Baht/Room/Night

****** Please acknowledge that the payment is non-refundable.  In case customers cannot attend the program, 14 days upfront announcement is necessary. Customers are allowed to postpone their program to the next without expiration

******* The program has been set minimum no. of bookings. In case less of that amount, it will be automatically postponed to the next with 7 days upfront announcement


Our GHBY program will be held at the Wellness We Care Center. Located in Muak Lek Valley, the center offers a range of services to boost holistic living. As a participant, you can travel by your own car or van or by train to Muak Lek.
If you are traveling by van, take BTS train and get down at Mo Chit Station. From Mo Chit station, take a bus or taxi to Mo Chit 2 bus terminal and take a van for Muak Lek. There is a van every hour to Muak Lek.
If you are traveling by train, go to Hua Lam-pohng station and take a train for Muak Lek.
You can take a taxi from Mauk Lek market to our center.
